I disagree with the first part. Have they been getting therapy that allows them to make rational judgment instead of having a temper tantrum when their whims are thwarted? Has the Bad Orange Man suddenly stopped tweeting, and setting them off all over again? Did they suddenly grow up?
I doubt it.
And "great President"? That's not determined until long after when we look back and see they, for example, gave an insane death cult an entire oil rich country to sponsor terrorism and build missiles to turn Europe into a radioactive wasteland. ( guess who, and the date the Parthenon glows )
I will say I agree with some big decisions, One just this week, and all of them intelligent negative acts, not allowing insane, Hydra sponsored, ( or the evil of your choice. I'm just going with the obvious trio, Putin, Xi & Soros ) treaties that would over throw American rights and laws.
The Bad Orange Man's choice to obey & enforce the law, unlike the previous Occupier of the White House, is not in any way a dictatorial act.
So, law abiding, evil rejecting, and not interfering in the Constitution, unlike the previous Occupier who weaponized law enforcement, the IRS, the EPA, and the intelligence agencies against reporters, private citizens, and entire religions and political parties.

It’s Not Trump Derangement Syndrome By Karen McQuillan - April 27, 2019
The Democrats’ behavior after 2016 is not mass delusion or mass hysteria or Trump Derangement Syndrome, or any of the other psychobabble explanations that dominate our political commentary. My first career was as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and I am not impressed with spraying around clinical terms as a substitute for looking at what is in front of us. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a colorful description for political behavior. It is not an analysis of what causes it.
[snip]
Naked political power is the driving force behind our culture wars, and behind the weird war on President Trump. It has little to do with his specific policies, let alone his tweets and his pugnacious personality, except that Trump’s counterpunching and toughness have allowed him to survive. John McCain and Mitt Romney didn’t drive them crazy because they caved without a fight. Trump drives Democrats crazy because he won, and because he won’t give in or give up.
That Trump keeps doing a fantastic job on the economy and foreign affairs makes them scared of voters liking what they see, hence they become more determined to take him out by dirtying him up with hysteria. It’s a tactic they use to propagandize low information voters, and suburban moms who don’t like conflict. So Democrats will cause nonstop noise, anger, and conflict, out of thin air if necessary.
It’s not derangement, it’s war.
The Democrats’ onslaught against Trump—the only force that stands in their way—is a testament to their will to power. President Trump didn’t cause the crazy attacks on him. The Russian collusion hoax was foisted on the country by the highest levels of the 0bama Administration (likely including 0bama himself, although no one will state the obvious) before Trump even entered the Oval Office.
This isn’t delusional or deranged behavior, it is deliberate political behavior aimed directly at the same old political end: power. Democrats—voters as well as party hacks—followed their leaders into the moral abyss because they didn’t care about undoing a legitimate election. They just wanted to win, at any cost to America and to our democracy.
The Democrats have one power tool to patch up their differences and stop voters from fleeing their left-wing radical nonsense. It is the same power tool demagogues have used through history. They need an outgroup to hate and vilify. They plan to unify the party around hating Trump and his followers as a racists. They want their voters to hate and distrust white heterosexual males.
None of this has anything to do with President Trump, the people who support him, or their policies.
Democrats are not deranged—their tactics work, and work well. They are not well meaning. Do not believe their moral preening. They are power hungry.
The derangement we face is a deliberate and calculated strategy of the social-justice Left. It has been turned into a mass movement by a bandwagon of Democrat politicians and media professionals who are riding it to personal power, publicity, and financial profit.
"I wanted to paint a picture of President Trump and First Lady Melania on a jacked-up motorcycle, painted up with the American flag and patriotism, as they ride down a bumpy, crumbling road that represents the hazards and the problems that this presidency has faced since Trump has been elected. Behind the president are a broad variety of Americans. Some are wearing their red, MAGA hats, a veteran saluting, and people from all walks of life. They are all there, and we are cheering on our president. If you look closely in the cracks you might see something interesting there. Get ready . . . this is the MAGA Ride!" -- Jon McNaughton
Blake, if you're lurking (and any other Joe diGenova fans): Mr. diGenova was interviewed yesterday on Bill Bennett's podcast. The podcast is entitled "Chapter 2: Where Do We Go From Here - Post Mueller Report" and Mr. diGenova's segment begins at 42:40.
An interesting aside: At 49:28 Mr. diGenova recommends two online news sources for folks wanting more information: The Conservative Treehouse and The Markets Work.
I watched some of the AG Barr senate judiciary hearing today. Didn't think I could grow to despise Democrat politicians more than I already do. I don't know how Barr sat there for all the slander that Hirono hag was spewing. He should have defended himself, told her to stop lying. That's what's wrong with so many Republicans, they just sit and take the slander, thinking they're being better person, and that doing so is good for America. It isn't. It just emboldens more of the same. He should have stood up and defended himself.
AG Barr did what he had to do (and, in fact, what his job title demands): Total and complete impartiality. The Left is chanting obstruction 24/7, and they're looking for ANY opportunity to impeach Mr. Barr (and, by extension, our President).
I agree with your sentiment. I watched some of the hearing yesterday. The Left is despicable. And very, very afraid...
BTW: Late yesterday, AG Barr informed the House Judiciary Committee (the hot mess presided over by Jerry Nadler in the clip I posted directly above) that he would NOT testify to them today, although he had previously agreed to do so. Nadler, at the last minute, significantly changed the rules of the hearing (including who could interrogate Barr and for how long). Barr told them, in essence, to pound sand.
To say we're at a pivotal moment in our nation's history is a major understatement. The attempted coup against our President continues, and whether we continue on as a constitutional republic hangs in the balance.
I like what I see so far from AG Barr, and he is endorsed by people that I trust (including Joe diGenova). Mad props to him for his professionalism and composure yesterday.
In the battle unfolding in Congress between the Democrats and Attorney General William Barr, I’m on the side of the United States Constitution. That means defending not only Mr. Barr but also President Trump. The two men stand on America’s legal bedrock. Which is why Mr. Barr was able to make short work of his Democratic questioners at Wednesday’s hearing in the Senate. His calm, straightforward testimony made it clear that he isn’t the caricature the Democrats have been drawing of him.
And they (the Democrats, Media, leftists) are fighting back with whatever ammo they have left. The ammunition is disinformation and gaslighting the public using main stream outlets. It is a war and they are in the final battle using everything at their disposal to go after the one man that can expose all of it: Barr.
However, it won’t work. As they say in old detective movies “the jig is up” and the American people, along with the DOJ, have seen enough evidence to prove that the bureau’s probe was fraught with problems.
