I seem to remember him chiding the US for it's problems with mass shootings, pointing to NZ as a place where such things don't happen due to more enlightened views and stricter gun laws. I think a state can pretty much run their election how they like. I'm not sure the SCOTUS could overrule them on that. I'm not sure what the CO courts would have to say about that though. They are talking about ignoring the vote of their own citizens. It certainly doesn't seem to be a very democratic process. It also means that campaigning in CO is meaningless. Candidates will have no care about how they vote at all. The voices of the people of CO will be muted. Seems like a very short sighted plan to me. | ||
