Is there a stainless alternative? I know the benefits of cast iron and steel and their coefficients of friction, but this is getting old.....

So I would need the disc rotor as well as the carrier, to bolt to my Marchesini hub as an assembly, correct? |

The newer rotor is a one piece assembly. Not sure you can remove the rotor from the carrier. |

And you’ll need the newer rotor bolts that are button head. The newer rotors are not countersunk. |

The case iron does rust but it is good brake. My humble opinion better than stainless. |
