Changed the coolant today as part of the service schedule and when it comes to the left radiator it called for the removal of the hose clamp and draining the left side from the hose, in reality the hose is short and will not remove to drain the system. Had to use a screw diver to distort the hose to drain it, anyone found a better way to drain the left side of the cooling system, it is cold here at the moment but no way that short hose was coming off the radiator. |

yea it's a pain,I loosened the rad off which gave me more wiggle room.Thanks for reminding me got to do that to.

Glad it is not just me, I suspect that maybe many do not bother with this particular maintenance procedure or it would have come up more often. I will definitely loosen the radiator next time. Cheers. |
