That can't be the same car that occupied Bill's garage for 5 years. Where are the holes? |

Keith, Pretty isn't she. Also, she told her favorite bike is burgandy Buell S3's. What do you think you could have a new riding buddy? With her on the back you could be the new KCMOB wheelie king. Neill |

Neill, I am glad that I ride a "Spark Red" Buell not a Burgundy one , though she does have that bulldog look, hell she might be a good one to guard your bike for you, as for me I like 'em somewhat thinner and without that bulldog build and is it true you went out and bought some Burgundy paint, a roller brush and stencils to paint your S2 with and the stencils to put S3 on your bike??

Took a ride today, went to see Neill and Bill put a Forcewinder on Neill's bike at Bills house. Bill did most the work, I watched and learned. Of course this was after a 1 hour wait outside on the front porch, should a rode I guess. Come to find out they got lost at the local sandpaper store!! Then Neill and I rode over to the other side--you know--Independence---the place where all the loony people live , to find Dennis's hide out. I say hide out becouse we rode by it 3 times. All I can say is, our government employee's make way to much loot. I mean wow! this guy has everything!! Bike lift, Tool box's--full I might add, T.V. with speed channel blarring, not to mention the indoor out shitter. This guy has it made.. Did I mention the swimming pool in the back where he hides the dead bodies?? Neill and I made it back to the right side in a few seconds, via I-70 & I-35 for me and 670 for the Neill Miester. Whew! thats it. |

Ok here's the recount of Sam's wedding. I remember it quite differently than most of you have discribed though. The weekend started out with our Gracious host supplying us a place to sleep off our upcoming drunk. Immediatley we noticed tha major differences that the new Mrs. Minnick has made upon her new household. I must say there are some welcome improvements to the Minnick den of inequity. You can now walk through the garage. No hotrod and 3 less motorcycles in the gargage. Seems as though Sam's toys are allready starting to disappear. get used to it buddy! The Shower curtain is now hung with shower curtain rings! The days of Zipties are over! The kitchen is where the major difference can be seen. There is now a REFRIGERATOR in the kitchen and not just in the garage! Actually there is a room that some may discribe as a kitchen in Sam's house now! Other improvements included; the much needed coffepot, a microwave, twinkee's, Ho-Ho's, and a miriade of other junk food items! who would have guessed! So we headed off to the rehearsal dinner! The event was held at KC Masterpiece. It was a nice evening of BBQ and conversation. There were many members of the KCMOB in attendance. The new Bride showed up but the noteable omission from the event was the Groom to be?? He must have been out chasng another skirt on his last night of freedom. Upon our return to Sam's place we saw just what we expected. Sam, a couple buddies, and a couple ladies partaking in a few beverages. His wife to be would be seemed disappointed as she left KC Masterpiece by herself and headed to a quiet place accross town to prepare for her big day. She was probably even more disappointed by the fact that I forgot to buy her the beer I promised her at dinner. The day of the big event started with a miriade of problems! The bride had forgotten to get her outfit for the big day, but after a quick trip to Central HD we resolved that problem. She bought herself a brand spankin new BUELL Shop shirt! Let me tell you, I thought the buttons were going to burst off the shirt! She was so proud of her new outfit! Then something came over the new bride! It must have been cold feet! We had a real problem on our hands. She jumped on her BMW and raced off! Neil and I tried to chase her down for what seemed like over an hour, but were having little luck. At times she was reaching speeds of just over 100 m.p.h. We finally caught up with her when she stopped at a Moto-Guzzi shop in St. Josephs! After a bit of walking around and looking at all the pretty new bikes, Neil and I were able to convince her that it was just wedding day jitters. So we finally convinced her that we had to get going, as she didn't want to be late for her big day! We raced back to KC at a remarkable pace! Delivered the new bride to Loose Park in just the nick of time! What a joyous event! a few I-Do's and it was all over! The new couple looked so proud as they greated thier guests! We went to the VFW for the couples wedding reception. From that point on, the rest of the day gets a little hazy! But I was conscious enough to get a photo of the new couple during thier first dance! I know its not a good quality photo but it was dark and I was under the influence! The rest of the night was a blurr, but I think a great time was had by all! Well, that is up until about 10:30! The Bride and Groom must have gotten into a bit of a disagreement, because the Bride left and went home!! Sam seemed to take it in stride though! He grabbed this other gal and started kissing on her! I gave Sam a call the next morning as we were traveling back home. Asked him how things were going. He said, "don't worry about what happened lastnight, I'm not all that shookup by it! Hey remember that I hot Blonde gal that I hooked up with at the end of the night?" I responded "ya, sort of??" His response was, "Her and I are going to make that trip to Nallins that I had planned as my honeymoon!" I am so confused!!!!! Keith

Thank god the picture of Dennis' and I slow-dancing didn't turn out well!!!!!! I thought for sure that would be great blackmail material..... cursed dollar dances....yeah, thanks for the buck Dennis. Before any of you get any weird ideas Dennis is a very good dancer, and only squeezed my ever so lightly. I probably wouldn't have noticed if his ring hadn't got caught on my wallet. Thank you all for the well wishes(condolences). Married life has been pretty tough to acclimate myself to. I am definitely learning to accomodate my new wife's lack of appreciation for everthing I say..... I almost got my entire vocabulary reduced down to four letter words.... I also may be changing my screen name to better reflect my newfound status in the real world.....I'm thinking "WRECKTUM" in all honesty It's good to be back, I have tons of stuff to catch up on (including a little project for the badweb) forgive me if I'm scarce for the next few days. Thanks to all the Mobbers and honoraries that made it out to the services. be back soon! you gotta hear about the trip! and the pictures!!!!!! I deep six'd the camera last night so I may have to find another way to read the memory card, but I will get it done! |

Digger I am just happy Sharon dragged me to the CR-V and poured me in to take me home at 10:30. After about 30 or so beers Sam was beginning to get confused who was who. I still can't believe he dragged me to the dance floor. I didn't want to go, but I felt I had to be polite, after all it was his wedding day! I ain't near as purdy as the true Mrs Minnich. However I must say I am a pretty fair dancer. Sam about threw my back out when he dipped me! During the dance he kept whispering in my ear "Just wait until tonight!" That sobered me up! Then I had to swill more of his free beer to make up for the buzz I just lost! About the shirt. It was in fact purchased that day for the wedding. This can be verified by Digger and Neill. I knew it was a formal event, and I didn't have a tux... so I thought a blue and white Buell shirt was the right thing to do! Besides... I thought some one at the wedding should wear white! There were two of us in white, the bride and me. Both of us got a lot of attention at the wedding. When I got on my bike to leave, I took off the shirt and neatly folded it as to not let it get wrinkled for the reception. So I was putting on the Joe Rocket gear, and ready to hop on my BMW (there was not enough time to switch to the XB for the wedding after chasing Neill and Digger to St. Joe and back doing triple digits!) and a guy from the wedding asked. "Aren't you the guy that was wearing the blue and white Buell shirt?" "Yes, that was me, don't tell anyone I rode here on a BMW!" Sam... To set the record straight... Sharon provided the cash, and Digger RAN up with his camera! All three of us giggling like a couple of drunks! (Sharon didn't drink, so Digger and I had to take up the slack!) I think in my field of employment that is called a conspiracy! You should be relieved more Mobbers didn't make it to the reception, now THAT would have been a line to dance with the groom, and Digger might have had time to get better lighting! It cost me 3 bucks for the first dance and 2 bucks for the second dance. I enjoyed the 2 dollar dance better than the 3 dollar dance, don't take it personal though! I can hardly wait for the first anniversary party! |

must be alot of riding going on. Dennis unfortunately we will have to go with Plan B on those carb floats. Cheapest I have been qouted was $41 bucks each! Not possible. I got a a bunch of cans of carb cleaner over hear I am considering spraying it into a coffee can and letting them soak over night? I would think it would be a matter of wiping the brass parts off with a cloth to take off the grime by then..? Regardless I got to come up with something.. |

Fuscat... Did you ask for the ones that weren't gold plated??? That can't be right. I will do some checking. There could be a chance that I am way out of touch on this... but I find it hard to think a stinking carb float is $40.00+ bucks. The attempt to clean might work, assuming they have not lost buoyancy, which I think can happen due to extreme age. My concern is not that as much as accidentally messing the geometry of the brass part of the floats trying to get the crud off and area where it mounts with the pin so it moves freely. If you want to try plan B, can you find a couple small bronze brushes, like tooth brush size or a bit bigger. I think some scrubbing like we did last weekend will be needed, soaking alone ain't gonna cut this crud. Mobbers... Assuming we don't have another Noah's Ark weekend... any rides planned??? |
