That's what I've been saying all along. The voting process appears to have become too corrupt to count on anymore, and the voting public is too full of uninformed sheeple to know what's right, and what true consequences lay ahead. There will be one big event, that will precipitate change. And it won't be a peaceful change either, I suspect. My 82 year old mother told me the other day "I don't get stressed out about it, I won't be here long enough to have to deal with it...I just feel sorry for you, for your generation, and for the younger ones". Sad part is...and she's a pretty bright lady...I suspect she's right. | ||

Although I haven't seen a poll, I'd expect any intelligent persons to agree that life is more difficult when you live in a Worker's Paradise. The starvation, police brutality, ( the Real Deal, not fake ) injustice, casual political murder, and informants that destroy the social trust in a society are all great reasons not to bring a child into that hell. Like Venezuela, Cuba, and especially the proposed brutal dictatorship of Sandy, where cars, trucks, and freedom are taken away to keep the Earth from ending in 12 years. Surely anyone would hesitate to subject children to such Hells on Earth. Better, by far, however, would be to refuse to allow communist dictator wannabes like Sandy to conquer them. Then the children could grow and prosper in a free and wealthy society. ( but not a paradise! There will be struggle, and fears, and bullies, and grades. Growing up has never been anxiety free. ) | ||

The problem is that the world isn't going to sit idly by while the US sorts everything out. A Second Civil War has the potential to be the bloodiest in history. Russia, China, North Korea, the Middle East aren't going to just watch the happenings while we fight. They'll be settling scores. When we are done, the landscape will be irreparably altered. Israel, gone. South Korea, gone. Japan, gone. Taiwan, gone. Swaths of India, gone. We haven't even started looking toward our own borders yet. This will all get very ugly indeed. | ||

I share that same outlook. At 58, I may or may not live to see it happen. There's little of my life that can be taken away from me at this point. Sure they can strip me of my wealth, but I'm pretty sure at that point, the sh!t has hit the fan. The real tragedy is what will be (and already has been) taken from younger generations. Best case is that we have spent a fortune of wealth from future generations. Worst case is much, much worse. The time to pay the piper is coming though. This will all get very ugly indeed. I'd like to apologize for being in a bad mood. Gore lied to me and it's freaking cold & snowing out. Congress says it wants to take away my car, motorcycle, guns, and rights. Gas prices are rising. Hatred of Jews is becoming popular, and history tells me that mass murder and oppression follows. ( which explains Congress's latest legislation ) I can't escape the idiot actors saying such stupid things it's going to ruin my enjoyment of the next big comic book movie. Which was all I have been looking forward to in life..... Because...... I finally found a cup o lunch flavor, sriracha chicken, that doesn't taste like ditch water, ( shrimp ) stale bullion, ( beef ) or dish water, ( chicken ) then Walmart quit carrying it! Thus..... Bad mood. And Kentucky fraud chicken still won't sell double down "sandwiches" ! I'm going to watch Demolition Man to see the utopia denied me by fate. And eat at Taco Bell. Gas prices are rising. Get the gasbuddy app. Most stations on my commute are in the 2.89-3.09 price range for diesel. If I go all of ten miles to the east...2.65/gallon. Gonna fill the Cummins tomorrow. Jeep got filled on Saturday so it's not thirsty yet. Careful with the DemoMan references...someone in the DNC will pick up on the idea of sex without bodily fluids, and that'll take ALL the fun out of it!
