Instagram, twitter and facebook. Trump was the first of many people that will garner votes solely on the content they post online (although Trump has an awful lot of appeal to folks for many other reasons). The Great Leap Forward is a great comparison.  "Destroy the old world, build a new one" We have no idea what we're going to build, we just know that everything that we currently have is horrible. They're like ungrateful teenagers who hate the parents who love and provide everything for them. They need a good ass-whooping to put them in their place. The problem is precisely analogous to what folks say about President Donald Trump. Whenever someone commences with their diatribe about his lack of qualifications relative to their other supposed superior candidates. . . . I sometimes point out . . the salient difference is the HE IS THE PRESIDENT. . . he is the one with his hands on the levers, switches, buttons and controls. Agree or disagree . . he is occupying the pilot's seat. More bothersome to me . . . than the silly girl and her silly ideas . . . .is the fact that a majority of something elected her. There is an editorial calling for the Green Leap Forward to be brought to a vote. The notion is it won't pass, but all the current Pesidential candidates have endorsed it, thus they will be tarred with the insanity & discredited. Maybe. But this agenda, ( and Impeach Trump ) will be The Thing pushed the next 2 years. In smaller, hidden, pieces. Total dictatorship is just so seductive, and now that they nakedly, openly, embrace socialism, and Social Justice ( which is neither ) and violence to destroy their enemies, the gloves are off. I'd recommend The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore . . . an illuminating (pun intended) book about the battle between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse the epic battle of AC versus DC in the early days of the light build and commercial electricity.
