Been looking high and low for stock maps and settings for my 08 1125r with a BUEZD ECM. Finally looked at the ECM today and the there are a lot of values that look way off... Previous owner said he "tuned it" and I'd just like to take it back to stock. Does anyone have a copy floating around? | |||

You can try Buelltooth.com They did a good job of collecting all the maps available on the net and putting them in one place. They mostly list BUE2D but send them a message for the BUEZD, they offer free maps for any customer. FYI, I did have an issue with the BUEZD firmware that was originally on my STT. The AFV value would re-set randomly after the ignition was cycled, and Bartels H-D said that they had seen that before. If your H-D dealer is Buell friendly, they can still upload your ECM with the latest stock program, it also updates your firmware to BUE2D. Should be a $50 fix, but you know Harley  | |||

Thanks for the reply Shoggin! I already have an ECM cable though and am trying to avoid spending anymore $$$ on this bike... It's this area in particular that makes me think things are not as they should be, maybe they are? I have nothing to compare it to.  | |||

Those are just warm up fuel mods. Does the bike run well while in OL getting warm? For less than $50 you can have a wireless Bluetooth dongle and probably the stock map you want, or for $50 you can have the latest tune and firmware loaded by H-D. Is it worth $50 to calm your nerves? | |||

It runs ok, smells very rich though. Very rich all the time for that matter, problem is getting it started. It lives on a battery tender, has a healthy name brand battery, but it will crank forever before it starts to splutter, backfires a few times and eventually starts. This happens mostly in near freezing weather, when left sitting for a while. I knew the maps had been messed with and when I saw a 220% startup correction I thought maybe it had something to do with it. Would happily pay HD for the latest firmware but no-one in the Raleigh Durham area touches them now. Is there anyone on here that can do it privately? | |||

Those start up correction settings are stock figures, just checked my stock ECM file from a BUE2D. Have you checked for an intake leak or blocked air filter? | |||

Also, there is a Buell outfit, in France, that will flash later firmware for 40, 50, summat euro. |
