Have fun. That was my only goal when I made the 37 states in a single ride on the S2. I was just thinking about the EBR thing and wonderful about the commercial value of advertising for a company that's been out of business for 3 years. Yeah. . . have fun. That's what it's all about. |

Court, Before we get to be too old to see print and too toasted to even recognize what we're looking at are we ever going to get an updated XX Years Of Buell Book? 35 seems like a good number... |

Hahahahaha . . . . we had a secret Buell visitor at the undisclosed location last weekend and some stories got told that will never see the light of day . . . but, who knows . . .some may leak out. There are . . . as I'm sure you'd guess . . plenty of great ones. |

Hahahaha . . . .well, we had a secret Buell visitor at the undisclosed location last weekend and you can bet some great stories got told . . . the HD real estate agent, the vaporizing motors, hostage trades . . . development bikes for people . . . wheels . . . drawn handguns and a couple Thompson sub-machine guns tossed in for fun. Most will never see the light of day . . . but, it was fun. You'd be pleased to know the the purpose of the visit was music and that the entire house got littered with interesting guitars that are generally kept hidden away . . and live sound equipment. We made a trip to Levon Helm Studios and got a surprise . . .what I thought was going to be a "typical night in Woodstock" ended up being 12 year olds doing a Stevie Nicks Tribute. . . . took a bit of mental recalibration but they rocked. We're going to have to get the motor/music crowd here sometime this summer for a "Silly Summit". |

Court: Apart from the next "___years of Buell", where you have done a fine job capturing the story of the company, and to only slightly lesser extent the person it's named for, I have another book suggestion I, and I'm sure a few others might enjoy. It's not directly a motorcycle book I'm looking for, but a story I think you would tell well. In reading your many posts over the years here, I get the impression that a Court Canfield autobiography would be an equally interesting read. Anyone who hangs from helicopters, does a one lap of America, has a bullet hole or two, jams with rock stars, and has the title "Professor" legitimately attached to his name, might have a few stories to tell. If you put them to paper, you won't have to remind us to remind you sometime, to tell the story. You might not get $5000+ a copy like "25 Years of Buell" hit at it's peak, but if you wrote it, I'd drop $25/hardcover for it. |

The Title is easy: Remind Me To Tell You Sometime. |

The title would be “How confused can one life be” and.... and the risk of sounding somewhere between arrogant and snobbish .... the suggestion has been made. I’m either real lucky .... real stupid or cursed ... probably depending on the day. I should probably include how I got the rock from the moon landing as well? :-) Seriously .... we will probably do some sort of a terribly unofficial gathering this summer. The most amazing app hung that’s ever happened to me are the people I’ve crossed paths with. Whenever 2 or more of them assemble amazing things happen .... toss Brankin in the mix and it’s an event of epic proportion. I mean .... whereas can some drink a couple beers and explain how to determine the weight of light ( yes, it does .... remember ... it’s “matter” ..... has Wright and takes up space or explain how he engineered a dishwasher for Bosch in the Ukraine? Whenever I think I’m totally screwed up I just look at my friends ..... then I feel fine. We’ll see. |

I might even be influenced to ride out to the Hudson Valley for that! (Not that I would ever ride for hundreds of miles just to eat good food!) |

With all the teasing through the years of great stories and "remind me to tell you..." You definitely should write this book Court. And a summertime gathering would be epic. I hope it happens and I hope I'm able to attend. |

For a brief break from our current diet of Spam... I noticed on Facebook yesterday that LAP is now selling the remains of Motus Motorcycles. The pictures showed everything from engine parts to complete frames. A question and answer on the thread indicated that LAP does NOT own Motus’s IP. |

Damned shame about Motus. Interesting concept, but way too overpriced for me. |

That's sad to see Motus wind up like that. The one fellow I talked to who rode one said if he had the cash he would have bought it on the spot, it was that good. |

EBR has apparently been selling a few bikes of late: “EBR 2019 limited edition production starts next month. The limited edition 2018 bikes sold fast. Buyers receive white glove service & special deals. Any ideas or special requests for 2019? “ |

The EBR plan: EBR restarted limited edition production in late 2018 & plan to continue limited edition production builds of our superbike going forward. |

The important thing to recall is that these are basically parts bikes and have nothing to do with Buell or Erik Buell. Correct or not? I think these are the Melvin folks from the liquidating company . . . er, well . . .liquidating. |

Pardon my ignorance - what is difference between it and a SX? Looks like an 1190SX with a fancy name |
