So I have a set of these bars. They replace the entire top triple. I was going to make the bike into a café style bike complete with the Buell race kit and the factory "race only" dual disc front brake kit. My question is... are these bars desirable? I'm considering selling them. I have no idea what sort of price to put on them if I were to sell them. Any help is appreciated. |

Sounds like crossroads bars. They range in price from $50-150. Post in the classified section if you want to sell. |

Heres my B2R set up. Changed it back to regular bars as the stance was too aggressive. Could never find any info on these

Mike_Lee, your set-up is exactly what I have but mine are bare aluminum. I have the Manta tank and I'm really concerned about bar clearance and what did you use for a brake master? |

No shit? I thought I had the only set up like that haha...As much as I searched, I could not find anything like this. Anyway, I did not have the manta on at the same time I had these bars. when I changed the tank, I added a set of Renthals but in order to do this, I had to add a 1" riser as the stem nut was in the way of the new bars. This made plenty of room for the manta. I cannot comment on these bars when used with a manta. The brake set up is a Nissin. Nothing more. Just a sort of custom reservoir was installed. I have since went back the stock set up but instead of the PM caliper, I used a Nissin. This is not the part that will come in contact with the manta first though, right? Wouldn't it be the throttle control? or am I misreading you? |
