The EBR "moniker" (name) won Pro Stock Bike today, both the World Championship and the final race of the year. The "EBR" stickers on each side of the gas tank cover, just like on the street bikes. Mike |

The snark is funny, but I think that's true for evert pro-stock competitor. |

Yea, maybe, but I posted a similar post here years ago (same situation), and got blasted because the engine OR much else is actually Buell or EBR in this case. Body work wise, the only thing that is semi accurate, is the headlight..! And, Matt Smith (the same EBR) is the only bike driver to go over 200mph at this event. Three times actually. Mike |

FWIW this guy is claiming legit EBR bodywork too: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/253 912/839830.html?1542038953 I honestly don't have an opinion about the state of the top echelon of racing anything, but it's pretty cool to see EBR being represented and HUGE congrats to him for having all that hard work pay off! |

I'm pretty sure that the NHRA has to homologate certain items - fairing/bodywork, windshield, and tail light (yes, I'm not kidding about the tail light). I'd guess others know more about that and can shed some light on it. That sure looks like a stock 1190 windshield to me. The "headlight" is a sticker the same or similar size to the original. |

Yea, pretty much what Snackroast says. The entire body, front to back (and the front fender) has to be approved by the NHRA. So it's a BIG mashup of the teams best shot at aerodynamics and the final ok by the NHRA. This can sometimes take MANY iterations to make both parties happy. The windscreen appears stock, there seems to be at least two headlight stickers. There is at least three different teams running the EBR bodywork in PSB. BUT, the tail light appears closer to one of the water cooled Harleys (don't recall the model). It's got the full rounded shape of the underside of the rear fender and flat across the bottom. Mike |

Hey, at least it is doing a wheelie... "At midseason, he was able to add the new EBR body, which is acknowledged to be the best aero kit in the class." I ain't got a damn thing against being the best in class... |
