Well I was torn looking for a vtwin standard that didn't skimp on components like the ol Honda Hawk 650GT. I enjoyed the Buells for a long time but wasn't sure of the fit and finish. Was planning on buying a new Sportster but no fuel injection steered me away. Colorado sucks for buying motorcycle (ANY BRAND but worse for HDs). One Stealer had over 5 03 Buells but wouldn't come down off of MSRP. Won't mention name except that they advertise here ; ) Another promised me a 04 XB9S at MSRP or an 03 at a discount. Give a week they said! Week went by...nothing. I cancel order DRIVE OVER 700 MILES ONE WAY with my truck to Las Cruces MN from here in Golden CO. They sold me a new 03 for $8049 out the door! DON'T talk to the El Paso store. They tried to jack me up 1200 dollars for shipping! Lorna is who I dealt with. I left Golden at 10:30 on Saturday night and showed up at 11 Sunday, jacked on Frappucinos, Double Shots and Beef Jerky. Loaded up truck, freaked coming down mountains at 65 expecting to see a Buell flying down the mountain! I am a happy boy! Off to search the archives on converting to the lower pegs. Hope to see some you Colorado Buellers soon! Adolf Valdez - Yeah thats my name! You think I got it bad..you should meet my brothers Benito and Genghis! JOKING! They got suckie names too but not that bad! |

Damn, that bike is becoming more perfect everyday. I was worried I would make the wrong choice in all the bikes I looked at. Nope, instinct served me right! Woo Hoo! I remember seeing something on setting the suspension when I was lurking a few months back... |

Mind your tire pressure & set your suspension to your weight by the specs in your bike manual until you get used to the bike. Good riding to ya. |
