Be gentle. I didn't find anything in the archives specific to the XB but I heard that the 04 XB*S has two inch lower footpegs than the 03. Does that apply to passengers as well? Does anyone know the part #s? I assume they will fit an 03. And will the shifter and rear brake pedal need changing. If so, what part #s? Thanks! Adolf |

That is the rear pegs that are lower not the rider's pegs. |

ah! thanks! well, wifey will appreciate that. She groaned when she sat on the bike to test it out. That could be a good thing since the only way she is getting on the back is if she is in a duffle bag and we are headin to the shallow gravesite covered with wet leaves by the railroad tracks! |

The S rider pegs are 1 inch lower than the R & they are interchangeable. But I think the bolted on sub-frames that hold the passenger pegs(that didn't change?)are longer on the 04s. edited by unibear12r on May 20, 2004 |

I found an easy way to ease the knees of passengers on 9Rs - reverse the passenger pegs. It moves them forward and down several inches - a major change for the better, according to my girlfriend. Looks kind of funky, but then, they're only on my bike when she is... |
