RKA Tankbag, best I have ever found. Chest rests perfect against back pocket and relieves the weight on your wrists. Gottleib Dry Bag Duffle and Aerostitch Courier Bag, both available from Aerostitch Riderware, when going cross-state or country (not yet, but soon, I hope) on my XBS. With that setup I can carry clothes, riding suit, snacks and water, and camping gear, including tent sleeping bag and pad. I use webbing loops and webbing straps to very securely cinch down the duffle bag on the rear passenger seat area. So far done a 800 some odd mile weekend. I'd like to go next fall to the Buell event in Boone, NC, but I also have a christening of my daughter in Mexico City in Oct. so I don't know I'll be able to get away. The Courier bag is used for overflow items that I want to have readily available. Very comfortable even with long hours in the saddle. |

Has anyone tried to mount Givi racks to an XB? I'm looking at getting an XB9R or SV650S. I know the SV can take 3 Givi hard cases but they don't seem to make anything for the XB's yet. I figure some clever person could modify the universal components to fit the XB frame. These hard cases are top notch for spacious cargo and security when parked. www.giviusa.com |
