Read through manual, remove shock, remove fan, etc. It mentions a special socket,(will I need this?) Is that important? Are there any tricks, shortcuts or items I need to watch out for when doing this? |

The special socket is a deep well socket of the correct size that has a slot cut in the side for the wire. Not needed for sensor removal - just cut the wire off. Will be needed for installation, unless you can get at it with another type of wrench. You can make one by getting an elcheapo socket and cutting a groove in it with a die grinder or similar. Hope this helps, Dave |

Replaced the O2 sensor. FYI, fan removal was most difficult part. Fiddly rotation required to remove. Hint: You can rent O2 sensor socket kit from auto stores. :-) |
