Changed out my Pri/Trans fluid today. After putting a new quart back in as per manual, the level did not come up to even with bottom of clutch diaphragm. Figure 1-19 page 1-20 of service manual shows a white dashed line at clutch cable attachment. One quart of oil did not reach that line either. When leaned over toward kickstand oil will spill out. Does this seem correct or do I need to add more oil? Thanks. |

Is that on a rearstand while your initially checking or setting on the wheels? I noticed when I had the bike on the rearstand I have, the reading will be off but if the bike is on the ground it matches up. |

It was on a rear stand when I filled it, took it off the stand and held it upright. I should have looked at the level before I drained it. My wife's brand new XB9S is sitting next to it so I might check its level to compare. Thanks for the info. Craig
