The NY Times published an article accusing Rosenstein of offering to wear a wire to entrap the President and apparently hates him enough to engineer a coup. The accused allies say it was a joke, never happened, and the Times is lying. Conservatives say Trump should fire the accused. Well, fine. But not for a Times story. They lie as easily as breathing, and are not a credible source. The Rosenpuppet probably should go to prison for not responding to Congressional requests in a legal, timely, manner, and his boss should have a team working on that prosecution already. But Donald? He should put in his next public address, not a twit, that he has been asked to fire the guy based on a Times story, and that he won't, because the Times isn't a credible source. |

Tweet softly and carry a big stick. Good advice. Instead it's loud & fix the stick. The last two Democrat administrations slashed the military and while Clinton was vocal in his support of the services, while lying about "cutting government" ( but only the military ) Obama was fairly decent about visiting stricken units, ( see Green Ramp disaster ) but initiated a propaganda campaign to shrink the military, ( # of carriers, etc. ) he blamed the Republicans for the cuts in the budget deal he wanted. It gave him unprecedented power to control where to cut, & he chose the military. Those yo yo policy changes with each election is a major reason America isn't trusted as an ally. Barry's betrayal of Poland, England, Israel, Lybia, Egypt....... didn't help. |

So with a second woman coming forward, with what seems to be in impossible to substantiate accusation of Kavanaugh whipping his junk out at her, we are supposed to accept that he is a serial sex offender... Who has NEVER has any of his victims complain about his behavior in the past. NEVER! It's interesting, that during Trump's election, I made a similar observation about Trump and his "victims". I think it was Crusty, who at that point made a comment about how it was similar to what happened with Bill Cosby, who was in the news for this, with an ever increasing line of accusers. It got me wondering, and a quick internet search showed that Cosby actually had people complaining about him for decades, before it was taken seriously. That's what happens with serial offenders. There are complaints made against them, repeatedly, but they get dismissed because of the difficulty in proving these sorts of things. Still, complaints are on record. It's bound to happen, just as a Las Vegas casino will make money at the blackjack table. It just defies reason. Especially with "witnesses" of the first accusation, all saying they have no recollection of the party with that group of people, much less some incident happening. It just seems very unlikely. It will be interesting to see the holes in the second accusers story. |

This entire thing is embarrassing, disgusting and infuriating and I think will backfire on the Dems big time. |

I heard someone compare this to McCarthyism where you are guilty by association and accusation without any proof whatsoever. |

Except that McCarthy was right about the people he accused of being communist sympathizers and agents. |

Ronan Farrow: New Kavanaugh Accuser Came Forward Because Democrats ‘Came Looking’
quote:This jumped out at me. You said at first she wasn’t sure if this was Kavanaugh last week, and you write after six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorneys she did become confident that it was him.
Sure, the second accuser certainly seems rock solid. After decades, she takes six days of consulting with attorneys to come to the conclusion that Kavanaugh was the one at some party. I've got to tell you, if I didn't know who it was that day, I doubt that 30 some years later, I'm going to figure out who it was. Certainly not without a lot of coaching, which it seems she has gotten. The sad thing is that this is a real person, with a real family who has been targeted for personal destruction over butt-hurt politics. The Democrats are slimy beyond belief! |

At least the press is calling out this second person for being $hitass drunk at that party. THAT much is substantiated, apparently. I agree - convenient timing on the Dems part. What about all the coworkers in the interim? What about a past US PRESIDENT (Bush)?? What about a stellar personal and professional record, with ZERO indications of these types of behavior. Anyone who watches a serial crime TV show knows, serial offenders don't change their stripes. If he did it once, he did it a dozen times, and there would be complaints throughout his history - disregarded or not, they'd be there. Now, how about Ellison? There's police records there; doctors records; hospital records - but he's getting a pass/ignore, because he's a Dem. What bull$hit. |

Some of this has to be payback for not confirming Merritt Garland and some of it is just the Democrats being scared spitless at being denied control over the courts. I know for a fact that woman do sometimes lie about sex. Right after hight school a girl named me as the father of the child she was carrying. She wanted to get married and I wasn't having any of it. I lost friends over this and my preacher prayed over me until my ears bled. It was only after the child was born that I got my good name back. She is white and so am I. The baby was bi-racial. |

Sharon, the girl who claimed I was the baby daddy have a horrible home life. Poverty and I believe sexual abuse by her sometimes around father. I think she saw the only way out of it was to get married. I was a nice guy and treated her decent so she decided I'd be a good husband. Looking back I can't be upset with her but it sure caused me problems at the time. But the bottom line is that she lied. Sometimes woman lie... (Message edited by Zane on September 24, 2018) |

This is one of those cases where I firmly believe women have it super tough. Of course any woman deserves a fair hearing without slime telling everyone she's a slut and asked for it. Period. But I automatically assume dishonesty because of the sponsors and timing. Unfair of me. I blame cried wolf phenomenon. Lie to me enough and I won't believe you even if you are telling the truth. Hang out with liars and your honesty is questionable. She's sponsored by, promoted by, & runs with known liars. Sucks to be you. |

If the media just keeps telling everyone there is a recession then one will eventually happen. And it should start with their stocks falling. Even too big to fail companies like MSNBC & CNN losing so much they have layoffs and cutbacks. Perhaps we need a "divest, screw, & ignore" program, where patriotic Americans tell their stock brokers & 401k accounts to sell media stocks and invest in Israeli & American high tech companies. Dump Facebook and Twitter and Google, too. If they want to support Chinese dictatorship crushing the subjects, and favor information control, they should starve. Invest in Duck Duck Go, or other freedom loving folk. Freedom of speech folk should be rewarded, oppressors punished where it counts, their pockets. Use Patreon to support Inrangetv, forgotten Weapons, your favorite comic strip, Motortrend, etc. People that create actual content you want. American citizens with talent & who love the things you do. Maybe even dump your cable tv, NFL subscription, etc. and seek out the content you want, not the baby food with communist poison they want to sell you? This could be a new movement that changes worlds. Except I won't be on social media selling it...... But you could. |

THAT...is one hell of an idea. I was looking at my 401 statement just last night actually, and working on changing banks for all my liquid monies - while I haven't had any service issues, I just don't feel the need to support Bank of America's politics anymore and am going to switch to USAA for personal, and likely a local for small business. But, the "dump these and focus on those" aspect for the 401...I like it. I'll be contacting Principal shortly. |

Loan based on FINANCIAL reasons. You're a BANK. What's next - "I'm sorry, Mr. Goetz, you can't finance your new automobile with us because you're a registered Republican." F that. I'm sure my paltry liquid assets won't be a blip on BofA's radar, but if enough folks make the same change...and besides, it'll make ME feel better. |

It is not just Gun Makers. They have been refusing to offer products and services to Local Gun Stores as well. And it's not just BoA. Other large banks have followed suit. This started under Obama as a concerted effort to choke of financing options for those businesses because they failed in their Gun Control efforts in Congress. |

Agreed, those were the examples I could find readily though. Again - my choice will be USAA for personal banking. I've been a member since getting my license and dad was a "triple-zero" member (member numbers are a fixed number of digits, starting with 000000001; dad was early enough he was a 000xxxxxx; mine starts with 00). I trust their staff, their products, and - sad as it is to have to consider this from a FINANCIAL institution - their politics. I've always had outstanding experiences with them. Unfortunately they don't handle business banking, but there are enough local banks nearby I can tap for my small business needs (rental properties and live sound production). It does feel good, though, that I just used my company BofA Mastercard to pay the enrollment fee for my upcoming wear&carry course |

I like USAA. I also liked Navy Federal even more, but I had to make that my alternate account for personal reasons. Navy Federal is the most user friendly bank I've ever had. |

Ford has provided four statements that back up her claim from witnesses who did not witness the event. In effect, they’re swearing that she told them something. I could, while being 100% factual, swear that I was told the dude sexually assaulted her. My sworn statement should carry the same weight as those other four: none. |
