Pics to come shortly Selling a brand new s1 tank that’s never had gas thru it- from what I’ve been told. It came with an S1 that I purchased. I’m told the decals bubbled immediately and it was swapped under warranty. Supposedly the bike hadn’t even been used. It is pristine inside and underneath the tank. There is a tiny, Barely noticeable scratch in the clearcoat on the left side. This probably would buff out. Obviously the major issue is the bubbling Buell decals. I recently fixed a bubbling tank fairly easily. For $50, raised logo decals can be purchased from St. Paul Harley Davidson. The bubbled decals will come off with a small razor blade and a bit of time. Place the new raised decals over the top and you’re good to go. Please refer to last pic for my other tank that I fixed this way. There’s Absolutely no bubbling in the paint itself Asking $300 . |

and here is a pic of my other tank in which I "fixed" the bubbled decals. The bubbling is in the decals only. Its not the orange paint underneath. Unfortunately Buell chose to clear coat over them- so All you need to do is carefully trace around the bubbled letters with a razor. Peel the letters off and reapply the newer raised letters over the top. You can just make out the outline of where the clearcoat is.
