so the gang stopped off at the harley shop in soldotna. i gave some demo rides on my XB, then sent the riders in to get the free back pack.. salesman initially looked confused, then i pointed out my lightning, that was being test ridden. they handed out 5 free backpacks. the best part was my 13 year old son riding the xb12 around the lot. they have a wide open area, with msf course lines marked, he was playing around on the course for a while. he got backpack.

Soldotna is a cool little town. I got the best halibut that I've ever had there. Fresh caught and cooked by a friends grandmother. Wow, was that good.

It's funny that they have an HD dealership. They wern't much bigger than a one horse town last time I was there, which was 1990. I do remember that they had the only music store (instruments not CD's) on the kenai.

Cool place (no pun intended) regardless.
