941 miles and the the bike don't start, pull plugs and gapping on rear cylinder spark plug way to close. then it falls of engine to the ground which isn't that far and it shatters. |

I know if you don't let the bike completely warm up each time you start it, you risk fouling the plugs. Happened to my XB9S, I had started it about 3 or 4 times before bike week and didn't let it warm up. About the 5th time it wouldn't start. Replacing the plugs took care of it. |

It doesn't take much for the ceramic to crack or shatter. Doesn't mean it was defective or a "bad factory" plug. Hopefully the plugs are the only problem with your bike as they are so cheap to replace. You may want to consider getting better plugs anyway now that you have taken them out. Mike. |

let me throw this at you guys if the tank is slightly over filled does gas run out the black hose by the muffler. also when you say getting better plugs what did you have in mind. |

Kcirttap, overfilling will cause that to happen. I usually try to put 10-15 miles on it after fillup just to be sure it doesnt siphon the top few ounces of fuel. At $2.10+ a gallon...Id rather ride it than drip it. |
