Planning a Vegas to NY bike trip in late April/Early May so started work on the SXT again. I managed to mount the Trekker top plate on the bike the other night by stripping the cushion from the passenger seat and bolting it to the seat pan. I also ran the two bolts for the seat strap to through the pan so returning the bike to the stock seat is 2 bolts and the key. I posted the other day that I was looking for some Givi cam side racks that had dimensions close to those on the SX. I decided to take a gamble with some 2015 Kawasaki Versys racks I found on Ebay for 90.00. Its looking like with some modification it will pay off. Looks like I need to sent the rack back 4", tie the two upper supports into the topcase plate then bridge the two sides together with flat stock. I will probably cut off the lower front mount and run that to the other bolt hole for the passenger footpegs. This is looking a lot easier than I thought. Bike currently has NCCR Windscreen (Thanks Jens it fits awesome) Rigid Ignite LED Driving lamps (Pics after I reposition them a little) Aux Power port Handguards 2" drop pegs Wolfman Tank bag Givi Outback Trekker 58L Topcase (Pic of it on the bike later) 42 Tooth steel sprocket Near future additions Upgraded seat from Stitch (Think its in the mail now) Givi Outback Trekker 37L side cases Exhaust finisher kit Pirelli Angel GTs Rigid Ignite Spotlights (Mounting them to the mirror stalks) 3L auxiliary fuel bottles mounted under the tail Maybe some sort of RAM mount to use my phone for GPS (Suggestions appreciated) More pictures to come as I make progress. The cases look pretty heavy cantilevered out there, but the weight must be less than a passenger. |

Cases are pretty tight to the bike my left case is on backorder so the right case looks gapped out in the picture. Topcase is on the rear seat so I could haul an anvil if I felt like it. Drag doesn't seem to be an issue was up to 3 digits last night with no I'll effect. Absolutely awesome having storage on this thing. Seat and exhaust tips helped it out too. |

Yeah, was looking at the pro taper adventure bars but the ergos are great right now and stretching the cables didn't seem worth my time. |

When you get the other bag, please post a pic of the completed bike. I'd like to see it. It looks good with only the one bag, but I think it'll look better with both. |
