Anyone have interest in this updated M2/S3 shifter? No idea what they usually sell for. There's only 2 previously sold ones on ebay, one without the base sold for $164.95 and one with a damaged heim joint and no base that sold for $51.94, so I'll go right in the middle for $100. This one is in good shape, nothing wrong with it, threads look good. It's not big so $5 for shipping.

I did find that post when I was searching the forum for shifters too, and checked St. Paul's website. Part is currently at $200, reduced from the original $230. I unfortunately don't have part of the linkage that clamps to the shift shaft. I figured if I ever tried to make a shifter work on my bike, I'd just cut my stock linkage and drill a new hole in it like Lovedabueller did when he made his own shifter.

I like your FrankenBuell solution there. Lotsa those leftover from cast off boomerang shifters. I did not find the updated shifter shifted much better than the stock, but it sure does look cleaner. It seems the stock part is still listed at St Paul HD for $48 at https://st-paul-harley-davidson-buell.myshopify.co m/products/n0622-01a1-genuine-buell-engine-shifter -lever-2001-2002-s3-x1-m2-or-with-buells-shifter-u pdate-kit-installed-b4l |
