Hi all! I've seen a muffler on Ebay and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this would fit (or make it fit) my '97 S1 Lightning? I'm currently abroad so can't take measurements... If your S1 still has the original 1997 header, the muffler shown will not fit. The original header has a 2" outlet and the muffler shown has a 2.5" inlet. |

Thanks Screamer, how about putting a connector piece in between? Or does this reduce performance?

Sorry - I overlooked your post. The adaptor might allow you to connect the muffler, but you'd have to be careful that it doesn't reposition the muffler too far outboard, and also rear bracket alignment may be an issue. |
