Im a firebolt convert on a new to me Uly. I really am not a fan of the dropped pegs, I tried them on the bolt and wasn't a fan then either. Ive seen some of the aftermarket Uly pegs, but all are dropped, and spendy. Has anyone used a flat/not dropped MX type peg on their bike? If not I'll do some measuring and looking and find something on my own, but hoping to be able to skip this step. I figure a MX peg should be bashable and have nice grip, and be cheap with little or no drop. |

I’ve read somewhere on here that 1125 pegs will work with ‘minor’ modification. I have Uly peg brackets on my SS Long and wanted to use straight pegs instead of drop Uly pegs for daily commuting. 1125 pegs are on order, once they arrive, and measurements prove it will work, I’ll do the mods and post how ‘minor’ they actually were. |

I have read that Vstrom pegs are a bolt on swap and have less drop. There are also likely to be grippier options for the Strom. DR650 pegs are said to swap onto the Strom, so.... |

Okay so my Uly pegs measured 0.848” at the mounting point. The Uly peg bracket measured 0.864” where the pegs fit into. The new 1125 pegs measured 1.00”. Took them to work and machined 0.075” off of top and 0.075” off of bottom to keep them centered. This was done to both pegs. Mounted and are working great. Will try posting photos below.
