No, he means the rubber tube that lines the opening from the air scoop to the air box. Take that out! |

If you've got the airbox off, and you look down the air inlet through the left side of the frame, its pretty obvious what the snorkel is. I was uncertain like you until I actually took the airbox off and looked down the hole and sure enough there's this big rubber tube |

Do a word search on snorkel in the KV - great pics even. Yes take it out as its very restrictive. Most definitely leave the horn INSIDE the filter in place. Good riding! edited by unibear12r on May 18, 2004 |

My first "real" rides on my XB were in the rain...in the winter. Granted it's winter in AZ, but it was still damn cold. 300=/- miles in no rain gear. I thought I was gonna die or at least loose a toe or finger to frostbite! That was when I picked up the Weather Magnet nickname. Thank God it's spring! |

Last year me and a couple friends took a trip to Ignacio CO. from Prescott AZ. We left about 4:30 and were riding through Flagstaff (7K'?) in the rain. VERY cold but VERY fun. |
