The other night the throttle shaft on my X1 snapped at the screw hole. Luckily the screw went into the cone filter and not the other direction  Does anyone know where I can get a spare throttle body? | ||

Be sure to replace with the updated throttle shaft or it will likely happen again. SteveH | ||

Buellrobot, I have a p/n 29536-99YA for a replacement upgraded throttle body, correct, not sold as parts.This may have been superseded by a newer number but is a good starting place. When mine failed if I remember correctly,the failed part had the butterfly connected to a shaft that had half the diameter removed to supply a flat spot to mount the butterfly. The updated shaft was a split shaft with the butterfly in the middle? At any rate the new shaft is beefier and won't split in half. Price back in the day was $89.00. Doubt you will be finding it anywhere near that price, but Lance can probably get one for you. Best of Luck SteveH | ||
