Does anyone out there have a good recommendation for replacement rear turn signals? My right blinker has developed a crack in the rubber, and its only a matter of days before it detaches itself. Cheers! A- |

I have a pair of these awaiting install. They are a mm or two wider than the stock blinker, so I am anticipating a bit of interference with my panniers (Givi bags on Fehling racks). They appear to have earned their Amazon rating: the build quality is good, and the LEDs were very bright when I bench-tested them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJ2ZLSH/ref=pe_303496 0_236394800_TE_dp_1?th=1 |

...or go to Lowes/Home Depot, and get some threaded tube from the chandelier aisle. Cut to length, run through the signal base, nut it in the signal housing and nut it to the bike panel to hold it in place. Run wires through the center. I've done that on a couple of my S2 lights and it's working so far. |

Be aware that if you switch over to LEDs, you will have to alter or replace the factory flasher unit so it goes at the correct rate. Here's how to do it for free: https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?19988 -NO-money-LED-flasher-mod The D.O.T. requires that it flashes "wrong" if a bulb goes out so you can tell it's out and replace it. LEDs take so much less current that it "feels" like the bulb is burned out. |

I check my signals and brake lights on pre-ride. I changed to LED signals with a different relay. |

Thanks everyone for the tips. I would love to go to all LED, or at least in the rear, but as I already have a mod that has converted my rear turn signals into running lights that flash three times with my brake light when I apply the brakes, and still function as blinkers, I didn't want to go through the hassle and the potential glitches of adding a special relay to the mix. I popped into Cycle Gear and bought a $19.00 pair of incandescent replacements. I'll explore the LED option at a later date when I'm not dealing with a light that's about to fully detach itself. Cheers! Alex |

I think that Ducati Monsters used the same signals. |
