Anyone happen to have a set of these DECALS they aren’t using? I recently bought a beautiful Molten Orange S1W but one of the decals is damaged from contact with a bar during an apparent left side drop. Pic of decal attached.

I've searched for those original style for sometime just to make copies ... so far no luck. DAve |

Best bet is to take a high def photo or use the parts manual photos if they are clear enough and take them to a vinyl shop and have them reproduced. I have an awesome vinyl guy but he’s slow. That’s what I did for my S2. |

Thanks guys. I had thought about the possibility of trying to get repro’s but didn’t really know how to go about it. Would any of y’all be able to help me out by providing a high-def photo of their left side decal (left side as you are sitting on the saddle)? Mine is damaged to the extent that it would be difficult to try using it. I do believe that there is a left and a right for this decal unless I’m mistaken. Anyone have the time to donate a shot? I’ll seek out a vinyl shop to get them involved. Provided I can get a set made that are accurate and equal to OEM, I would be happy to make more available to members here for actual cost plus a couple bucks for packing materials and shipping but it all starts with getting that photo |

Having one with these decals and not bubbled is relatively uncommon. Core to the issue is that Buell had a Customer Satisfaction campaign to address the bubbled decals. Buell exchanged bubbled decal tanks for new tanks with the raised "3D" decals that are applied on top of the paint. (They may have gone as far as exchanging any paint over decal tank) If I'm not mistaken, the original part numbers were: 14741-98Y DECAL, fuel tank, right side 14740-98Y DECAL, fuel tank, left side DAve |

Are those even stock S1W decals? My S1W decals were nothing like that. |

This is the replacement tank and decal. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gbwaSPycfqJuMu0W2 Not to step on toes ... @Court - Add me to the list. I've been looking high and low for these for years. MAybe I haven't asked the right question or the right people. :-) I'd LOVE a high resolution shot and measurements of the original decals. It's been years since I've seen them in person. DAve |

I have an original blue/orange S1. Give me a few days and I’ll try to get some pictures of the decals. I know the right side has some bubbles in it. |

Court as always, hogging all the goodies. look Phelan has a pile of NOS S2 Parts he snagged recently. I’m guessing it’s a right hand mirror on the left, can’t remeber if the XB/tuber mirrors were the same. |

Thanks Court and everyone else. Let’s see if we can make it happen. Just right here are a couple guys in need which makes it worth it. I can provide a good right side photo (or even take him the cover) but the left side is messed up. It’s possible he could still work from my left one and just digitally fix the image he works from in order to make the repro’s. I’ll do the legwork to see what vendor here in Atlanta is up to the task. Id even consider the 3D recall design but I don’t find that those are available anywhere either. Unless someone here has a stash. At the end of the day, I’d be okay with either really. Anything is better than a damaged one. John |

It'll be a weaker two before I get up to the barn but if you can find the vinyl folks I'll likely be able to supply a new set of stickers to be scanned. I think I have a couple sets of all the stickers we ever did . . . Drop me your contact info and we'l coordinate it . . . By the way . . someone here ran down the guy who did the original Buell 3M stickers recently . . .but I don't recall the thread. |

The raised are domed so difficult to repop. I’m in augusta, ga, I have a great vinyl guy. I can run it by him if you send me the photos, put a quarter in the photo so he can scale it in his software. He did my S2 decals off the tank but it was curved so he had to tweak it some. |

Court- I just sent a PM with my contact info. Thanks for your help on this! Based on what we come up with, I’ll work to make as many as we need available here to the group as well as a small amount of them on hand if someone has a need down the road. John |
