Comes a time in a man's life when he has to admit he is riding more motorcycle than he can completely master. Thinking of getting a side hack and need to make garage space, let ULY go to a younger person. What is a fair price to ask?? 2006 Buell Ulysses Bout 30K miles ± Bought as floor stock from Orwigsburg HD in 2008, was a demonstrator and had been down, scuffed up the mirror Maintenance has been more regular than not (I log all maintenance & have the log) Front tire, Road Pilot 2, new < 5000 miles ago Rear tire, Road Pilot 2, still street legal Installed the auxiliary air scoop Battery bout 2 - 3 years old At this moment needs front brakes to pass inspection, have the pads & the fluid Front forks have a leak, 2010 springs installed previous rebuild, have the seals & the fluid Comes with - Clean paperwork - Manual - Buell dust cover, very faded - Spare Belt with about 12K miles on it (I think, but can check the log) - New Protective pucks, still in box - Primary cover gasket (I think) - Tank bag, very faded but way cool - Soft saddle bags - Buell tail bag - K&N filter |

Between 1500 to 2200 for the bike alone. And 2500 to 3500 with all the extra kit included. I got 1500 for mine on trade for new bike. |

You have a few pluses. Your bike has (relatively) low miles. It is a one owner bike (you). Also, the maintenance log may show that you've taken good care of it (?), and proper care at proper intervals (?). If I was looking to buy, these would be things I would take into consideration. Watch Craigs List, for Uly's in your area, and the asking prices. That may give you an idea of an asking price. I would guess a little higher -- 3200-4500. |

I think $3200 - $4500 is too high. I'd say $2500 and be happy you got it, if you do. Uly prices are very low, very few people are interested in Uly's these days and the few that are know that prices are low. All years are low but 2006's and 2007's are significantly lower than 2008 and above models. |

I’d say about $3000 tops! But I wouldn’t sell mine for that. It’s worth more to me than selling |

I sold my '08 Uly XT in June '17 with 33K on it. Original owner, new primary cover, stator, voltage regulator, replaced rear wheel bearings at each tire change. Never dropped, well maintained, and sold for $3400 in 2 days locally. Hope it helps. |

I just bought my 09 XT with only 8k miles on it completely stock, full luggage, from the original owner in SoCal. Essentially new in appearance. Motorbikes down here always sell for more though because we ride all year long I guess. Guy took me for $4000 ZERO regrets! |

Sounds like you got a great deal. Was that the asking price, or a negotiated price? |

You will not get what it is worth to you. Save it. You will miss it. |

The price is in the value the buyer sees in it. If you do the forks and brakes and go over it with maintenance adjustments and lube here and there, With a new rear tire I would ask $3400. Aiming at getting $3200. Given that, deduct what needs done at double its cost. Have it top notch ready for $500, selling as is deduct $1000. As long as it runs good and looks good $2200 asking price, and might go to $1900 to get it gone depending on where you are and your time frame. Just my opinion. You asked. |

"I just bought my 09 XT with only 8k miles on it completely stock, full luggage, from the original owner in SoCal. Essentially new in appearance." I picked up the very same for $3500 in Florida about a year or so ago. |
