hey fellas, i was told that the air filter on the xb12 is the same as the xb9...im looking to purchase a K&n air filter...does anyone have the part number for this, as the 2004 xb12r air filter has not been made for the 2004xb12r (YET)...so i figured i could use the 9's air filter made by k&n...any help would be greatful... what i want to do is get the k&n airfilter system and the drummer exhaust... thanks much |

Who told you that the air filter was not available? It's in the race kit and the part number is 29388-02Y. I've got one in stock if you are interested. |

The "Buell" version is a K&N. Buell has exclusive rights to sell it for "a while". |

Just cleaned and recharged mine the other day, seemed to make an improvement. How frequently do you guys service yours? I think I stretched it out a little too long with about 7,000 miles. |

No we are not. We should be, but my GM is completely anti-Buell, and I don't think I could convince him to spend some of his precious advertising budget promoting the only product in the store that needs promoting. |

GM @ Gainsville 'anti-Buell'? I'd think if Ray was still with us, he'd be shown the door.

Perhaps the family atmosphere they speak of on the "about us" page includes a trip out to the woodshed for an attitude adjustment for the GM? |

'gator, sorry I didn't catch your family tie. I had the pleasure to meet your pop once on a road trip. He was very enthusiastic and helpful concerning Buells -- he informed me about the replacement latches for may bags, which I don't think I would heard about otherwise. take care
