Hey Spudman! Sorry to hear you are in the same situation that I am in. Since I live in Washington, there are no exstensions for unemployment. Not too sure why that is, since Washington ranks right up there with Oregon as being one of the highest for unemployment in the country. I have also started to look else where for employment. Very tough decsion on my part, would have to give up my visitation with my 11 year old son and leave the rest of the family behind because they would not be able to relocate with me due to wifes medical problems. I will keep ya in my thoughts and hope the best for ya. Jim

Great riding was had and the weather was Fun-ominal. we put a lot of faces to names and generally had a great time. I dont know why more of us don't go. Bob

WWBD. Go to Infineon. No Triumph yet in my life. You said "Any Triumph", right? See a 1952 model for sale on Ebay. Is that what you meant? How about a 2000 Sprint RS with 4500 miles for $4000? Is that a good deal? WWBD? Checked my insurance, a Speed Triple would run me $840/yr, but a Sprint St $320 or Sprint RS $500. WWBD? |

Bob, you KNOW why I wasn't there! I'd a had to ride bitch behind Debbie! Or walk... Still counting the crows 'till Betty gets home. Thinking of my last trip to Deeleys, I got 'pulled' aside to be searched and interrogated! The cocksuckers! They stuck this bright orange sticker on my windshield, scribbled some ---- on it, and sent me to the 'pound lot. Half hour later officerfuck-weasle said I was free! I asked him what the scribble on the orange thing accused me of. He said 'that's for us to know, and you not to know". I said 'well aren't you clever, officer Fuller", and turned to leave. Fuller says with all the authority he could squeeze out of his little pig-face, "what did you say?" So I turned and said loudly enough for all the other gaurds and the gaurded to hear, "WELL AREN'T YOU CLEVER, OFFICER FULLER" I'm sure this is all because T-BoltEric gave them so much trouble...or 'cause Ray wasn't with me this time. Hey I got my internet back up today! And it's raining so I don't mind being inside! sooner, Galen p.s. I see Blake has removed my ability to say bad words once more. What a _--------- sure has no trouble useing such words to express his thoughts over on SACBORG... missed cocksuckers, and officerfucker.Ha Ha says I. |

Pdxs3t asked, How did the interview go? Things went very well, but I won't know if I got the job for a little while. They probably have other candidates to interview then will make their final decision. Part of my interview was to give a presentation on verification philosophy. At the conclusion of which the president of the company made the comment, "That was very good. I bet the university would enjoy having you present this material to them. It's much better than others I've seen". It is a smaller company, about 25 people and is located in the northwest. But I don't want to say more than that, don't want to jinx myself. So how are your employment battles going, any hot leads yet? You do have some tough decisions to make and I don't envy you one bit. I hope something good comes your way soon that will keep you close to family. And now for all you Mothers out there ... Tomorrow is your day. Tell the kids to off and take your bike for a long ride, you deserve it. The kids will be happy you did something for you. uh blake, what's wrong with , should I use urine? |

Spudman, Things sound pretty promising after your interview! Will also keep my cajones crossed for ya. My battles are are still on going with not much for leads. Went to an interview on Friday for what I was told was a Call Center Manager position. When I got into the interview, it turned out to be a 20 hour a week telemarketing spot that paid 7.26 HR. LOL......a far cry from the 40,000 a year they had advertised. Still have two weeks left to continue the fight. Jim edited by pdxs3t on May 09, 2004 |

Firemanjim, everything went great!!! I was able to unload the bike and get in the garage without anyone knowing. When I went into the house I asked her to help me carry a few things in, she opened the door and freaked out. There were a lot of tears and hugs....I guess that meant she liked it. If the weather holds today I hope to get her out for a ride today. It's really been bugging her to just sit on it and not be able to ride. I put a few goodies on it, engine guards (crash bars, hopefully not needed), some foot pegs I had left over from my Dyna Glide Sport and a lay down license plate frame. Looks like I'm stuck being a slave to the MAN again.... Oh well, at least it's all about riding motorcycles and having a helluva lot of fun. Thanks again Jim, for letting us invade your home for a week and making us feel so welcome. Steve ps. Pam, have a Happy Mothers Day!! |

Just saw LO's Peggy was stolen on the 7th. More agents of the crap factory are on the loose it seems. Really lame. sooner, Galen p.s. And speaking of lame, Blake won't even let me type pound sign, dollar sign, question mark, at sign... the commonly allowed not-cus words that you see in the funny papers. How completly un-American to hinder my right to free speech. Sexual intercourse that, sez I. P.P.S. And now I see that my little soap box man is able to post the very symbols I am not. Oh the mysterys of the Patriot Act. edited by sparropie on May 11, 2004 |

Michael, alas, just not enough time/$ to do SPLASH for me this year, as i've got a 3-1/2 week tour planned in Sept that has gobbled up most of my riding budget (and then some). Oktoberfast is 10/8-11, beginning here at Lake Isabella, overnight in Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP, then back here, all on GREAT roads, with a couple of BBQ's tossed in and plenty of merriment. all are invited, but need to RSVP so we know whether we can house everyone here or if we need to secure some local lodging. if you can't make it for O'fast (or even if you can), please pay us a visit on your way to/from NMex/Mex, the door is always open. hello to Linda.
