I have seen several threads looking for the 19 or 21" front wheel for the Uly.... well I finally found one! 08 Buell XB12 Ulysses Front Wheel Rim STRAIGHT 19X2.15 https://www.ebay.com/itm/08-Buell-XB12-Ulysses-Fro nt-Wheel-Rim-STRAIGHT-19X2-15/361950791515? Now before you go calling me bad names there is video evidence of this unicorn in captivity. Buell 19" Unicorn Wheelhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaMVGufw6Es Now I have seen it all. |

Nice! Looks so much like a Dyna/Sportster wheel... Crazy huh? |

Sure, if you want to put a Dyna front end on your Ulysses for a heavier nose, worse forks, worse brakes...and worse performance. While that is a 19" wheel...it certainly isn't "for" a Ulysses! No ZTL hookups, and I doubt the axle would even fit. The youtube shows clearly a Dyna front end - not upside-down forks - along with Dyna axle, brake rotor, caliper, and presumably master cylinder. *I* wouldn't want to ride that! |

On a related note, looking at their other stuff, holy crap are they overpriced. Used parts from wrecked bikes at more than brand new retail prices! |

You can use sporty's 19" wheel... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/discus.cgi?pg=prev&topic=142838&page=409771

At least the gas can will work as crash protection while it's laying right on the header. There are at least a thousand better solutions than that, but if the creator of that bike wanted a slightly bigger diameter wheel so bad he gave up on front brakes as well, there's obviously no talking them out of it. |

I have been down few times, yes. Gas cans have survived. They are on only longer tours, like places, where is no gas stations near. But 19" wheel is sooo much better on gravel roads... And there is front brake, too |

I'm glad you like them but they only have to fail one time to be pretty spectacularly catastrophic. I see the front brake, I was being a smartypants because it looks even smaller than the stock Buell rear disk If this works for you, awesome! I hope your travels are long and worry free. I'm not trying to talk you out of it. Just saying I would just do it differently. Cheers! |
