finally got some pics of the XB with the PIAA driving lights.
i have the relay wired to the hi beams, so did not need another switch. they are only 55 watts each, so no problem with power supply.

Dean; looks very clean. How about a close-up and details of how you mounted those lights? PIAA model # etc?

Thanks
Henrik

PIAA model 004X 55 watt "super white". they come packaged with a bunch of wire, a nice little relay, and fuse holder. $110.00 from www.litewarehouse.com they are mounted to the ugly fork reflectors with real small sheet metal screws. since the pictures were taken, i removed the white nylon cable ties, and replaced with stainless worm drive hose clamp, with heat shrink tube on the band. doesnt look bad at all, and they are quite well stuck on there.

short note regarding XB alternator/ charging system. i run heated vest, heated grips, and (3) 55 watt lamps most of the time, and the system voltage is always above 14, even at idle."Fullpower"

Fullpower - If you have a minute I would like to see a close up of your mounting, sounds clean.
