Nicky has forgiven Dani, and if Nicky can, I can. Besides, it looks like the REAL problem was Alberto Puig, and he is long gone. I wouldn't mind seeing Dani FINALLY winning the title (but preferably for another factory).
"The Professor" was on point this time around. Now, in two weeks, wouldn't it be GLORIOUS if every Italian on the grid went out of their way to make life difficult for a certain Spaniard? Kind of like the "Spanish conspiracy" in 2015?
Wishing for a bunch of riders to conspire against another simply because YOU think something happened that did not, in fact, happen... would be the opposite of glorious.
How about we all wish for every rider to do their best job and be gracious about it when Marc takes the championship?
Marquez on the pole, but Iannone is third. With any luck, Iannone will take him out on the first turn and Dovi can make his way through the pack to win the title. One can only hope...
Wow... MotoGP is going to sound VERY different this year. Both Nick Harris AND Dylan Gray have left the broadcast booth. Nick Harris retired, and Dylan left to pursue other opportunities.
Am I even going to recognize the races when I tune in?
Jonas Folger will miss the 2018 season, leaving a seat open on the Tech3 team. My friends and I have already been speculating on who should fill it.
My first thought was J.D. Beach. At 30 years of age, I think Cameron Beaubier is too old for consideration. Garrett Gerloff JUST got his seat on the MotoAmerica Yamaha Superbike.
Poncharal gave an interview saying who he WON'T approach to fill the seat but he only mentioned people currently in WSBK, Moto2 and Moto3.
If he doesn't want to make anyone break an existing contract (which I don't think would be a big issue for JD Beach as he is contracted to Yamaha in the US), then why not ask Colin Edwards if he'd like to ride it for a year?
You'd think the Europeans would be familiar with JD Beach as he blew everyone away at the last Super Prestiggio.
The "Old Man" has decided to race for another two years. I guess he's now the "Roger Federer" of motorcycle racing. Just hope Yamaha can get that bike dialed in this year for him and Maverick. In the meantime, "GO DOVI!!"
Three penalties earned by Marquez landed him in 18th place.
My question is, WHY the hell Zarco didn't get the same penalty for causing Pedrosa to high-side it??
Miller was on fire for a while there, will be interesting to watch his season... he's getting that bike figured out. Crutchlow was his own usual modest self... lol
