It's all gone quiet on here, is everyone organised then? I am. (he says with holier than thou superiority) I know I know, it's just very rare for me to be this organised this far in advance, and I keep getting attacks of smug. It's very unbecoming. On another note, does anyone want anything bringing over from this side of the pond when I come (bearing in mind I've got to carry it and get it thru customs). Ooh I get so excited with anticipation I can't sit still, so I'll have to go out for a ride. See you all soon. |

Do they let you bring thru those unpasturized cheeses that we can't buy over here? |

Hey Grumpy, Ever hear of the tiny French Islands of St. Pierre & Miquelon? Two islands that France owns located about 12 nautical miles off the Newfoundland Coast. Its a real cool spot to go, just like someone takes you and drops you in the middle of France. My 12yr old daughter is going there this week for a school trip, she is enrolled in French here on the island where 90% of her grade 7 classes are totally in French. Great way for the kids to learn another language. |

Oh, how things work out! Due to budget issues they had to delay the project 6 weeks. That frees up my schedule now. I just made reservations for 2 to visit Newfieland! Alex, I can't find your phone number. Email it to me & I'll give you a call or call me @ 319-269-0259. |

I'm too damn young. Not a clue of where that came from. I went to Ann Arbor to visit Spidey last week, and we talked a bit about our plans too. I'm working with him to finalize the departure from Michigan. Alex |

I haven't read when people are headed back to the mainland. I went ahead and made my return reservations for Thursday night. I don't think that 4 days is enough but I needed to leave time to get back home. I am so pumped to be able to do a ride like this. I've been to Colorado several times and New England once but this will be the ride of a life time. Next I'll have to think about Europe, maybe for a retirement trip. |
