Jim, I will be arriving Monday afternoon, after a stop at the ThunderDome. I will be staying at the Holiday Inn in Vallejo Monday and Tuesday nights. Don't have a place to stay for Wednesday night. On the way in, I'm planning on stopping in Modesto HD/Buell, just to see the place, I've heard alot of good things about the shop, is this still true? Didn't know this was in your backyard, but did know you were somewhere in CA. I'd love to swing by and do some visitin' with ya. I won't be on the Blue S2 though, so ya don't get to see what I did with your parts! I'd like to see some of your "toys" also... You can drop me an email, and we can set up a meeting, or we can just meet at the riders meeting. But I will have most of Monday afternoon free. I am planning on stopping by the ThunderDome to visit with Jerry and Denise on the 6th and 7th. Then heading back the morning of the 8th. Tripods forever! |

JIM, I'll be on my S1W, as I just barely got the newer S2's new Nallin motor broke in. I still don't want to take it on any long trips yet. I'll be trucking it to the Thunderdome, and then riding from there. It'd be nice to meet ya somewhere on Monday, sounds like I'll be rolling into town around lunchtime. I'm told it's about 5 hrs from Lake Isabella to Vallejo. |

Viros, Glad to hear your gonna make it! Havn't seen you since the Tourque Fest. I'm not familiar with the area, and didn't know where the hotels were, so I just went with the Holiday Inn. FMJ, what are you going to be up to on Monday afternoon? Any chance of getting together?

OK, I'm back home now, wow, what a great time I had. Thanks to all the locals that showed up, and took us over some of the most Buelltiful roads I've ridden in years! Here are some of my pics... For those that were there, no explanation of the pics are needed, for those that were not there, shame on you. The following pics are from my ride through Yosemite on my way to Ferrisville. Finally, I made it to Ferrisville, and we went out on Friday for some more sightseeing, and twisties. It was Ferris, his friend Dino, and I. The end to another great day of riding... And finally, I bid farewell to Ferris and Denise, and as I leave Lake Isabella, I get one last parting shot... Thanks to everyone involved. I had a great time. Alot of miles, and alot of grins. |

Bart, Awesome pictures. Can't wait until I get out there to visit Ferris and the lake myself this summer. I can't even imagine how many pictures I'll end up taking along my journey. Thanks for sharing!!! Prior |

One last picture... After a long day of taming the twisties, the BRAG group decided to relax on the beach and get some sun.

Dave, the S1W performed well, without a hitch. It certainly IS one sweet bike! Even with that 2X4 for a seat. 400 mile days are a stretch on that thing, but the grin factor far outweighs the pain in my butt.

Way cool, Bartimus. Good to see you again! I've got to get some of my pics up as well. I know that beach spot. What that picture is missing is the sounds...the seals are just belching, farting, grunting, and such continuously. The picture of Bartimus and me on the middle of the bridge is on Skaggs Springs road. Truly an AMAZING road. Anyone that ever finds themselves on the coast road north of the golden gate (about 1 hour north, Stewarts point) needs to reserve about 1.5 hours to go from 1 to 101 and back on this road. It was so much fun I did it on Tuesday AND Wednesday. The no wine'n rally was a blast, I had a great time. FMJ (and wife Pam) was a fabulous host, and hangin with the Gussenhovens and their friend Steve Arnold was a gas. Vallejo HD/Buell is very Buell friendly. Their techs and parts guys are Buell knowledgeable, Terry Parsley (the race/dyno guy) is a Buell nut and genuinely nice person. He had a small accident on the way to Sears point, separated his shoulder, but still managed to attend all the events (not riding, in a sling). For all the S3's that were there, it seems mind boggling to me that Buell doesn't have a replacement model for it. Al |

Are you sure it was the seals and not Fartimus doing all the gaseous explosions? Sweet Al can't wait to see your pics as well. I miss riding all of that area, though admittedly for me it was aboard a '71 CB350 built to Brit Hill climb specs in a custom frame. I miss the hell out of that bike and she was a screamer. |

Great pictures Bartimus! Really made me miss the north coast... I'm originally from the Bay Area. Guess I'm gonna have to go up to Sears Point one of these years and visit the old haunts. As I told Ferris awhile back (and haven't lived down since), the last time I was at Sears Point, Kenny Roberts was racing. Kenny Sr. |

Ok, I bite, where is the "Seal Beach?" Am headed back home (Dana Point) next week and would like to include that on the list of places to take the Sig O. Will be running the coast from Ensenada to Point Reyes and if I need to head further north, no big deal. |

Outrider - Bartimus was just funnin' some friends about that pic being from the Brag ride...despite the erie likeness to a group of sunbathing Buellers. You will, in fact, be passing that exact spot on your ride to Pt. Reyes. It's a bit north of Cambria as you head toward Big Sur.

Dino...Thanks!!! I know the area well and am spending most of my time in out there in Carmel and Monterey. If all goes well, I may be moving to the area again. Haven't lived in Monterey since the 60's when I as stationed at Fort Ord but made the annual pilgrimage from Orange County for over 25 years. |

Ebear, I believe that is the road from Sonoma lake to the coast. Truly a fun road. More like a paved dirt bike track is more like it. The grin factor was maxed out that day! the guys there in Cali sure know how to pick 'em!!!
