So, I have come to that point in time when I think it is right to part with my Buells. I am hoping to move in the next year and I am trying to reduce to needs, and not wants. That said, I am trying to unload all of my Buell related paraphernalia to increase the chances that I will resist the temptation in the future. I am giving BadWeb the first shot at my collection, because I want it to go to someone who will do something cool with it. So here's what we've got: A 2000 S3T with ~19k and the following installed: -Relatively new front Michelin Pilot Road 4 -TWIN shock -Full race exhaust with dual O2 bungs welded onto professionally ceramic coated headers -XB rocker and positive crankcase ventilation kit -Double ended shutoff quick disconnect in the fuel line -New Yuasa battery -Aftermarket LED mirror/turn signals and LED flasher -Fuel injectors cleaned about a year ago (sent with the X1 parts for a 4 injector discount) -Cleanable oil filter -Forcewinder The bad: -Deep hard bags have a little cracking -Original Front Motor Mount was ground down after the the Forcewinder was installed (would make it difficult to get the original air cleaner back on) Parts that are not installed: -New-in-Box Frame Fan -Original turn signals and mirrors -Taller Zero Gravity screen -Original air cleaner -Fairing bags Also included is a fully dismantled 1999 X1 with about 22k miles! Yeah, I know. Dismantled to start a custom project, and then didn't finish it. All the stock parts are there, and it ran well upon disassembly. Here's what was on it: -Forcewinder -Fiberglass underseat -PM Wheels -Otherwise stock Lots of expensive shiny new parts: -Stage 1 Thunderstorm Heads by Hammer Performance -Front motor mounts by Hammer Performance -LSL rearset kit for X1 -Front and rear Isolators -Rear LED tail-light with integrated turn signals for X1 -Recall timing chain tension-er -Galfer Wave brake rotor -2 new oil drive gears -Oberon intake flanges Other stuff: -Penske shock rebuilt by local motorcycle dealer -D and D muffler and mount -X1 and S3 factory service manuals -Dell netbook with Windows 10 and a paid for copy of ECMspy for BUEKA -A fair bit of 20-50W and HD Syn -Sportster Engine cradle -Heavy Duty Rubbermaid cart drilled to hold Sportster Engine Cradle Kind of broken stock parts that I haven't thrown away: -Stock muffler where the front mount ripped out -Stock 16 in shock that leaked My ideal ending here is that someone comes and takes everything away from me for about $6000. If it has anything to do with Buell, then you are welcome to it. I am sure that I have left some stuff out. Let me know if you have any questions or want to see any other pictures appear. All, I appreciate the interest that has been generated in the last couple days. However, I am not interested in parting out at this time. I will update the add if this changes. I am afraid that if everything doesn't go, then I'll eventually just spend more money replacing what I sell. |
