I'm looking for a set of front fairing screens. Does anyone have a set they'd be willing to part with, or know where I might get a set? Thanks. |

The '96 screens are different than the '95 screens. The '95 are just 'expanded metal' while the '96 are flat sheets with actual part numbers. I found a set of rears (from two different sellers) on eBay a couple of months ago - just did a search on the part numbers and they showed up. If you have a '96, they should be 58904-95Y which supersedes to M1040.8.
Don't see any right now - good luck! |

Good afternoon, I'm looking for some of the original '95 expanded metal versions, front and rear if anyone has any they would like to sell. Need some for a 1995 S2 restoration. Thanks, Rick rtlll@yahoo.com |

I'm looking for a good "green" carbon fiber upper fender for a 95 resto. The one i have is fairly beat up. |

How do people install these? Two part epoxy? |

My fronts are screwed in with 1/4 x1/4 screws. The rears seem to be epoxied in with maybe fiberglass resin? |

Some 3M adhesive kit should work to for this kind of things. |

Yes, two part marine epoxy which is made to bond aluminum to fiberglass.....just be careful not to get any within the screen itself, a bitch to remove excess |

For my 1995, I bought a set of stainless steel gutter-guards (keeps leaves and line needles out of the gutters.)Cut off what I needed for the bike and put the rest on the house. Almost a perfect match. |

For a 1995 you can likely do no better than gutter screen . . . that's pretty much what it was. For 1996 we went to a "printed sheet" type of deal. I had some sheets laying around here but have no clue where they are. This will give you an idea of how they were received. We just busted them out . . like parts to a model car . . . to install them.
