I am looking to by a spare seat for my S3. I did a quick Ebay search and 2 seats keep coming up. My bike has this seat
and this one. Whats the deal with this seat?
Will it fit my 2000 S3? Is it comfortable? Do ya have one you would like to sell? |

Take it from me Mark, the one on your bike will be much kinder to your jewels. I had the second seat which is stock on my 97, switched to the first seat which is a 98 or later S3 I believe. SteveH |

Definitely your 1999-2002 seat is more comfortable. Have ridden 600 mile days on that one. The 1997-1998 seat will make you sterile after 200 miles. I have two of the 1997-1998 seats on the shelf. Want to buy them cheap? |

Thanks for the offer Rob, but I think I will pass. I just purchased a "Sit & Fly" seat cover and was thinking about having two seats. One for hot days and one for cold. But I just don't do that much cold weather riding these days. I am going to a local shop to see if they can staple the Sit & Fly cover to my seat. I need them to cut the extra fabric away so it fits better. I will post a pic or two once its done |

shop wanted $100 bucks to staple the seat cover on. $22 bucks at Harbor Freight and it's done.... and now I have a cheap electric stapler!

Evening 1313 and All, I will sell this stock 1997 S3 seat for $50.00 plus shipping costs. First three photos. Two small holes at underside of the tip. No other tears or holes anywhere on the seat. Doubt it has more than 5,000 miles on it.
----------------------------------------- Another stock 1997 S3 for $40.00 plus shipping costs. Does have multiple vinyl cracks in the drivers seating area. No tears or holes anywhere else.
