There were only two dealerships listed in the nation that have the part I need. Struck out on both phone calls. The part is on backorder at Tilley's and there's no release date from the factory   Never know Wycked. By the time I get this thing together, it may be the shiniest bike in the nation! | ||

TucsonXB9s Bart called me from CA. tonight. Said he's having a Blast! I mean a Lightning! opps. He ran his S-1 on a dyno and was really surprized. He said California riders can get down on the twisties! He's coming back with a lot of new info for us on Exhaust systems the guys are running for prototypes out there. Sounds like he's getting an education! Naw! Bart already knows it all! hehe.  | ||

M1, Apparently the "R" fairing is a popular conversion to the "S". There are no fairing support brackets, the magnesium part, in the whole nation; and the factory has none as well. Guess we're waiting on them to make more... I know you would Wycked. I tried everything I know, even junk yards, guess I'll have to wait. Crazymike, welcome back. Oh, Wycked... Have you sold your Ninja yet? If not I know a guy who is interested. It would be a first bike for someone with NO experience. He's my age with a child so he should for the most part not be a squid as such. I've talked to him at length about proper gear and all that and he's taking a class next week to get his license. | ||

I'll be letting him borrow my copies of Twist of the Wrist and Total Control tomorrow. I know that's not a great starter bike but it should work fairly decent. | ||
