That's pretty cool. You have to wonder how much stuff like that is still languishing around Harley someplace. They probably have one of those "Indiana Jones" warehouses someplace full of lost Buell parts.

Your almost correct. What we've seen before with parts that just pop back up is they came back from an international warehouse.

I wonder whether the HD markings on the crate are burned off

Don't worry I don't. I just received small skid of parts in the other day.

HMM says it doesn't fir s3 with lowers attached, but here is a picture of the bike almost as it looked I rode it home. The only difference is Chardaway put on a Supertrapp to replace the D&D, and of course replaced the taillight lens.

IT shows it apparently can work, but I don't know if any mods were done. I took the lowers off because I didn't care for the look, I wanted the motor to be seen. The bike is no where near as pretty today as it was in this picture.

I took a dremel to my '99 S3 lowers and notched them to clear the shifter linkage. I think this was a normal "reform" for the handful of '02 S3Ts w/lowers.

Thanx Hootowl, you just put me another $230 in the hole. I'll have another order next week Lance. I just put one on ya a few minutes ago for muffler hangar and a few footpegs. Thanks for your efforts on our behalf!
