I may be having an intermittent stick coil prob on my 09, CR. I've put almost 1,000 miles on a low mileage bike and when I was about a block from home, one cylinder died. I limped the block home and could smell unburned fuel so I suspected spark. After sitting over night, I cranked the bike and at first it seemed to run fine and then intermittently dropped the rear cylinder. I popped off the seat and check the coil connections to the rear cylinder. No problems there. Does anyone know the OHM readings for testing these stick coils and also a supplier other than Harley for them? | ||

I've got some used ones if you can't find any. I had a gander on eBay and there is a pair for $37. That looks like a good deal as I gave $75 for a pair. (Message edited by figorvonbuellingham on June 09, 2017) |
