Kerley, With Bubba's departure you may want to establish contact with Blake here about maintaining the BadWeB sponsorship and get in contact with Bubba about the various in's and out's of successfully dealing with us. At this point I'll simple step aside. |

Last Friday Timbo (XB9R), Kidcoocoo (XL1200 Cafe) and I (trusty S2) left Santa Barbara for Ferrisville and points beyond. We hooked up with Ferris and Dino in Bakersfield and they led us on an incredible succession of roads that took us all the way to Midpines just outside of Yosemite. The Bostrom Highway, Jack Ranch Road, Dry Creek Road, the 245, Pothole Road, the list goes on and on. It was simply outstanding. Additionally Denise had a feast set up for us at the Thunderdome. Speaking of the Thunderdome, the garage there is, as they say in SoCal, "sano". Wipe your feet before entering please. Anyway, we couldn't have had a better time. Ferris and Dino were outstanding tour guides and set a safe but thrilling pace. I can't wait to go back. Great roads, great riding, great scenery, great food, great people. Thank you Ferris, Denise and Dino. Jim in Santa Barbara |

Ditto what Jim said! Outstanding adventure, made all the more complete by the presence of high quality friends, new and old. I posted some pics of the weekend in the "Pictures>>>Action/Adventure" section of BadWeb. Enjoy. Timbo |

ditto what Jim and Timbo said. i had a marvelous time, and a large part of why was the caliber of people involved. to say that i'd do it all again in a heartbeat is a huge understatement. thanks for making the ride so much fun, to Dino for his unwavering friendship and enthusiasm and wit, and to Denise for all these things and so much more. ride to lean, FB |

It's got a pair of EL84's running full power as part of the preamp, they run into a dummy load just before the signal hits the power tubes. It's a boutique head and it's built more solidly than my Dual Recto and I've never had a Boogie fail in over 10 years, not even a tube. not a clue what it means, but damn if it doesn't sound totally bitchin'! |

Oh, and you'll have to excuse me now...I've got to get packed. I've a meeting Thursday morning in Monterey, CA. I think I'll leave tomorrow, head over to the Pacific and thence up Hwy 1 along the Big Sur coastline to Monterey. And I get paid mileage...and expenses. Sometimes life just ain't fair. |

The other day, as I was tooling along at 60 mph in my lowly M2, the little voice I sometimes hear, spoke to me. Usually I hear, "Back off idiot, 85 up the on ramp is not good". This time I heard, "I wonder what happens if you fan the clutch?" The lunge was impressive, & any passenger would have been dismounted like a loser in a Joust. |

(hey, Dino, wanna borrow the Thong to make it official???) Hey, Ferris - You do remember the last time I rode a bike of yours, don't you? Jim_SB - I've ridden it once before. A couple years ago on my former '87 BMW. San Francisco to Cambria and then home on a lovely November day. (it takes pretty bad weather to make a day less than lovely when you're riding down Hwy 1 behind the fairing of an RT) Actually that ride was returning home from a business meeting at the Presidio in S.F. What an absolutely stunning way to spend a day! (the ride, not the business meeting) |
