I have been carrying this line of products for a couple of years now with great success, and now they are ramping up into the HD and Buell market. Very effective (30-50hp) kits that are very easy to install. Instead of a full high pressure nitrous and extra fuel system, this kit uses bottle pressure to place positive pressure in the float bowl to richen the circuit. All that has to be run are the bottle lines to the special manifold inside the airbox. Thus making it self compensating for bottle pressure. I know the owner, and he has told me he wants to try it (they have tested on XL, Twin Cams with no problems. but they want to get some out in the field and get feedback. Anyone interested? email me midmichperf@hotmail.com www.boondockers.com is the link, with many ATV, Motorcycle, and 2 and 4 stroke snowmobile applications. |

Oh yea, I have installed 8 or 9 of these systems over the last 2 years on snowmobiles, and not had one of them with any problems. Boondockers says they have had over 300 sled installs with no engine failures. They are looking for 5 people that are interested, so I thought I would start here. |

Sorry all, had stuff to do I talked to boondockers again this afternoon, and what they are looking for is 3 people interested. They have everything together there, they just didnt know how much market was out there. I have used and tuned their sled systems in the past, and they are real easy on multi-cylinder, multi carb, 10000RPM, CVT clutched 200hp sleds, they should be real easy on the XL platform. A quick breakdown is that the system self compensates, mods or stock. The more air into the carb, the more NOS/Fuel is added. No jets, etc.. to mess with. Just swap out small plates in the injector. One hole = 10HP, 2 = 20, etc.. no fuel adjustments or anything.

One other thing to mention, this is not a typ high pressure solenoid system. It does not just dump all the NOS and Fuel at once. It is all governed by the carb. All goes off of air, or the need of the engine. You can push the buttom (on sleds at least) at idle, and the RPM just jumps a little, as the carb slides are not open that much, so the system does not pump that much. When the vac goes up, it dumps it on. Cant wait to get mine! |
