Ortega - if your dealer installed your pipe and ECM, I'd check and make sure they removed the rubber thingy in the intake on the frame (can't think of the name - help?) Also, the XB12 airbox would be the final low-buck tweak for your set-up. Henrik |

Henrick, it's called a snorkel. Yeah, the XB12 airbox would be a worthwhile purchase. And, in no particular order: get Sportec M-1's or Pirelli Diablo's. Switch to synthetic oil and synthetic primary fluids. Get higher performance spark plugs. Get the upgraded Gates drive belt (I have yet to do this). Find creative ways to shave weight off the bike. Get your suspension dialed in to your style and weight. Mike. |

Do a track school, it will make you faster than the mods! Ride to the edge! Dave daves@h-dappleton.com |

...pssst! The rubber thingy is officially called a Velocity Stack. (I call it a snorkel too) |

Velocity stack is different... V-Stack is on the internal side of the filter and helps to direct airflow (and increase air velocity) down the throat of the throttle body. The "snorkel" is the rubber tube that runs from outside the filter down through the frame/gas tank to the left side air scoop. Do NOT remove the V-Stack... remove the snorkel. |
