I just installed a new Mik HRS42 carb on my M2. I've rerouted my throttle cable wrongly and now the tank is interfering. I know it wasn't doing this before I took out the old carb. My 01 Cyclone shop manual doesn't show a pic of the throttle linkage route. Does anyone have such a picture? |

Disregard the first message. I've discovered my error. I routed the throttle cables to the left of my left fork tube so it was not only interfering with the tank mount it was binding the steering when I turned it to the right! Bad news! Anyhow I now have them corrected and will make sure in the future that I get this task done correctly. The M2 fired up and didn't puke gas everywhere so I must have done it right. Test ride tomorrow morning if it doesn't rain. |

This a revised pic of my M2 Cyclone, named the Hornet because of it's black & gold colors. |
