Wycked, I'm caught up in the move right now, won't be able to do any distance riding until I get back from Cali. I am available Wednesday night if you want to go up to Cave Creek or Carefree, (Bartlett Lake) I'll be back in Tucson Friday to clean and turn in the keys at my old Apartment. Plan on hitting happy hour and rubbing shoulders with some of the old "buds" before I leave. (Ya hear that AL?) Ferris, got your message, have directions, will get with you by Thursday night. If anyone in AZ needs a set of tires, I have a set of Pirelli Diablos - 120/70ZR17 and 170/60ZR17 brandy new, never mounted, still have the stickers on them, got them earlier this month. Wycked, How was the trip back??? No wind at all I take it. Nope, none.  Thanks for coming out! I really appreciate it. I called Tilley's today. PARTS STILL ON BACKORDER! What do I have to do to get on the road? Eliz is getting disheartened...  As soon as we both get on the road, we'll head out to Phoenix so we can meet up with everyone and ride. Let's not forget to schedule that Brag un-screwing meeting when everyone's schedule is clear. I'd like to round up the Buells here in Yuma and form a satellite group of the Phoenix Brag club. Someone stopped when I pulled in for gas in Dateland. He told me I had lost my mind but wanted my address so if the pics his wife took of me trying to ride in the wind came out he could mail them to me. Said it looked like I had the bike totally leaned over like I was a racer taking a corner....and that was just to keep it in the lane.... | ||

Rubbermaid, We're leaving my house at 7:00 am. We'll have a cup or two of moe and then "Go". We're going down under. Breakfast at Sonoyta or Tombstone! If Bartimus is still "sobering up" in the area-he is certainly welcomed to ride "Bitch" with one of the Harley Boys. We'll put a seatbelt and helmet on him so he won't slide off!! AL and Brian, Thanks for showing up yesterday. It was nice pounding a few cold ones with ya. Brian, thanks for coming all the way across town! AL, we still forgot the book! LOL. I had a good buzz going when I left, but I only went as far as Anne's house, spent the night there, rather than risk driving all the way up here. Had a nice breakfast, and send off this morning. I survived, legs are killing me from tossing a waverunner around yesterday and today. I have the pleasure of being the first one to ever completely flip their runner. I had this great view upside down with the handlebars of the runner sitting about 3 feet above the water, upside down as well. Then I hit the water...Charlie, wish you had been able to make it out, if I had known in advance the way things had gone, I would have said HELL YAH!. The launch was right next to where we were tied in so it would have been all good. Now I want a Buell powered waverunner...anyone got any ideas? | ||

Next time... I didn't get to the river this weekend anyway. My MSgt's retirement party ran late and I didn't get the boat registered in time. I couldn't justify a spendy ticket on a $12 registration. Oh well, like I said, I'll be out there soon throwin em back on the river bank. Hope those parts get here this week! Need to get that scoot out on the road. I was so bored, I sat in the garage and polished the pipes! Now that's anticipation... Bubba, call Tilley's and tell them to please hurry! | ||
