Are there any aftermarket options out there anymore for the perimeter brake rotors? Or are we stuck with scalped and overpriced OEM versions?

Most aftermarket and OEM XB and 1125 rotors are around the same price.

On a similar note, do we have access to the EBR rotor mounting kit? That, plus a new rotor, seemed to have permanently solved ALL my pulsing issues.

Thanks!

I actually don't have any pulsing. In fact, my brakes have always worked pretty well. The rotor s simply wearing out. I'm soon to be on break pad set #4 and the front rotor has a significant lip on both the inside and outside edges.

I'm not looking for an upgrade necessarily, though it might be nice. I'm just looking for a replacement that doesn't cost over $200.

Why?

You get 4 sets of pads worth of miles out of a rotor...but now you want to save pennies?

Brakes and tires. Two places I cannot understand skimping.

How many miles to get this much wear, in your case? I know this would vary, greatly, with type of riding and riding style.

Mostly a lot of stop & go traffic. The bike is my only transportation so the majority of my riding is in traffic. Admittedly, I tend to change out my pads a little prematurely. The front rotor is developing a bit of a lip on the outer edge, therefore my inquiry.

If it's only a lip, and there's no compromise to braking performance, no pulsing, no grabbing, and no accelerated pad wear...keep riding it. Pick up a spare if you want, but if it's working properly...measure the thickness, compare to the spec in the shop manual...

as far as the lip goes, I take a 4 1\2" grinder and take those lips off. makes putting new shoes in easier and bedding them in easier. more on car rotors than bike rotors tho. as said earlier, measure rotor to be sure you still have a serviceable rotor. if needed , check runout as well.
