Anyone have the dimensions for these? It's time to replace mine and I didn't see them listed here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/723134.html?1380802845 |

They are not standard bearings. The inner race has a built-in spacer. |

Hmmm. I had never come across a bearing of that style. My local bearing supplier looked at the old bearing and said, "nope". It is good to know that there is another source. |

The bearings are called "angular contact" bearings and are quite common in industry. We used them in 5 stage hot water pumps. When you put them "back to back" they make a great controller of axial loads or thrust loads. This is how they work in your goose neck. They go in facing each other or in opposite directions. They are designed for the torque specs given. They are good bearings I just think that they should have been retorqued after initial break in. Also rust around the seal area caused seal wear and leakage. Since I replaced mine, and I lubed all surfaces to keep them from rusting, I haven't had anymore problems and I have more miles on the new ones than I did on the originals. |

Smear them with anti-seaze at installation. |
