Anyone knows which kind of plastic is the airbox made of? ABS, propylene, polyethylene? ..

Any XB/1125 cover will interchange if you stumble on a spare.

Epoxy filler will work. Work it out to finish without primer if you can. I use adhesion promoter for plastics and flex additive in 2K automotive Base/Clear with good results on this stuff. With most modern paint products less coats of everything are better. I finish sand surlyn with a fine scotch brite pad with soapy water.
